Sarah Chatterton

Eco Textile Artist

Sarah graduated in 2010 from Winchester School of Art in BA hons Textiles, Fashion and Fibre, specialising in Textile Art. Sarah has always had a passion for the environment and trying to live a low impact life both at home and in her studio making. Taking the decision to stop making new items, Sarah now works solely on embellishing already existing items. Sarah machine embroiders unique designs onto customers own clothing. Either sewing a visible mend on an item which is stained/ damaged or simply adding a new lease of life to a well loved wardrobe favourite.

Kim Cody BA. ATD. Cert.Ed.

Painter

Kim's work is essentially about the landscape but her response to the environment is emotional rather than pictorial. " I am interested in studying small details and in recording my own responses to nature and the elements. Throughout my career my work has become more and more abstract as I try to capture the ephemeral images of light and shade in small corners of the landscape. Initially Kim records her observations in pencil or water colour and then develops them as charcoal drawings, oil paintings, collages or acrylic paintings.

Melanie Lucas

Jewellery Maker

Beautiful handmade silver jewellery inspired by the coast and country of the British Isles. Melanie makes sterling and fine silver jewellery, embellished with semi-precious stones, gold and copper. Each of her pieces is designed, created and finished by hand, using traditional silversmithing techniques and textured using rocks, slate and old hammers. Melanie then very lightly polishes her jewellery, retaining the natural, earthy, organic look left by the texturing techniques.
