Anne Gardner

I’m a potter and a painter.  I make functional and decorative ceramics.  Every piece is handmade using thrown, slipcast or handbuilding techniques.  I  work with porcelain and white stoneware clay which gives me a pure surface to add surface decoration using handmade glazes and coloured slips and stains.

I work from home studio overlooking Ashtead Common which can be a starting point for my painting.  I work on canvas and paper using acrylic and watercolour.
