Art Life at The Thatch

Angela Chadwick, Monique Fischer Birley and Tina Collins have been life drawing together for many years.   Monique facilitates group life sessions at various locations which is how they originally met and they also enjoy the company of a wider artistic community.  They share a love of pan pastels,  large, bold, expressive work and inspiring and motivating each other.  More recently (lockdown permitting) they have enjoyed painting plein air and the challenge of capturing and interpreting the great outdoors as well as still life sessions when the weather hasn’t played ball.  During Open Studios there will be a wide range of work on display both framed and unframed and artists sketchbooks for perusal.  Commissions are welcomed and can be discussed.  The three artists really look forward to warmly welcoming visitors to the Open Studio in The Thatch this summer.
