Artists Studios and exhibition at Oko:Art Onslow Village

Resident artists, Tania Oko and Becca Clegg, whose working studios will be open for Open Studios, are joined by ceramicist Julie Barham, who lives nearby, in Onslow Village, and Avril Jones, photographer from Caterham.

Tania Oko trained at Central St Martins. Her recent work includes large and small abstracts, acrylic fluid paintings and small florals. She will be displaying her smaller paintings, as well as some larger work.

Becca Clegg paints dramatic landscapes of views that inspire her. Her joyful acrylic paintings transport you away to beautiful places. She will be displaying some recent small paintings of Cromer and Grasses. Larger coastal views and flowerfields will also be available to purchase. Becca will also be displaying and selling cushions, placemats and felted items.

Julie Barham is a ceramicist who produces both tableware and sculptural pieces for the garden. Her inspiration comes from the natural world, from plants and the landscape. She will be selling tableware with bright coloured patterned slip designs and sculptural raw stoneware seedpods for the garden.

Avril Jones’s love of photography is nearly as old as she is!  She uses her camera to preserve memories, tell stories, create art and show places and things we might never otherwise see or even hear about.

Their mixed portfolio of work creates an ideal exhibition for finding unique presents and gifts, in good time for Christmas. There will be plenty of gift items and homewares for £20 – £30, plus a range of more expensive sculpture, paintings, prints and photographs, in this light and airy gallery space.
