Becca Clegg paints dramatic landscapes of views that inspire her: swathes of flowers, dramatic sea views, woodlands in Guildford where she walks with her family. Her paintings are uplifting. In 2017-18 Becca was commissioned to paint large work for Ward F14 at Frimley Park Hospital, to lift the spirits of the elderly. Her joyful acrylic paintings transport you away to beautiful places. She will be displaying some recent large and small coastal paintings of Porlock, Cornwall, local bluebell woods and the flower fields she is known for, all available to purchase. Becca will also be displaying and selling original Collograph prints, Giclee prints of her landscapes, cards, cushions, and felted items.
Nestled in the Surrey village of Mayford, Workshop 925 is a primarily a jewellery school that caters to all skill levels — from beginners with no prior making experience to advanced designers who attend to refine their craft. Some students will attend a one-off course to try something new while others join our community to develop new skills year after year, we provide a nurturing environment for every jeweller’s journey whatever that might be.
Our students range from hobbyists to aspiring professional goldsmiths. Many of our advanced students have gone on to become successful jewellery designers and makers, running their own independent businesses while continuing to grow under the guidance of Workshop 925.
Our expert team of makers specialises in a wide array of techniques, including advanced stone setting, etching, precious metal clay (PMC), piercing, wax carving, casting, fusing, granulation, and kinetic functional jewellery. We are also proud to showcase designers who offer truly unique, handmade creations—bringing fresh and innovative designs to life.
At Workshop 925, we’re not just a school; we’re a community of makers, creatives, and entrepreneurs working together to craft exceptional pieces and explore the art of jewellery-making.
Their mixed portfolio of work will be showcasing unique large and small original paintings and prints together with glass-art and a large and interesting array of jewellery, offering the chance of finding unique pieces for yourself or your home and great gifts. On the walls throughout Open Studios will be a great selection of work, with starting prices as low as £3 for a card, through gifts of £30 – £50 of affordable jewellery, cushions & homewares upto large canvas paintings of 1 metre for that unique signature piece.
