AskaArt
In my studio, you’ll find highly textured, mixed media, and functional art that explores the contrast between the rugged, organic textures of nature and the sleek smoothness of epoxy resin. I describe my work as a fusion of the rough and the smooth, the natural and the synthetic that creates a dialogue between natural and human-made materials.
Inspired by nature and spirituality, my art is abstract and non-representational, with each piece designed to engage the senses and energize the soul. My aim is to create ’Art from the Heart’ that promotes wellbeing, healing, and a deeper connection with nature and the self.
I work with natural, earthy materials like tree bark, gemstones, rock, sand, dried plants, and flowers, combined with high-quality epoxy resin and pigments. I often reuse and upcycle old frames and canvases, giving them a new purpose in my art.
