Greyfriars Studio, Tilford – Colette Moscati, Julie Owen, Sheila Purvis and Hanna Wildman

Step into a shared Open Studio event where four female mixed media artists come together under one roof for the weekend of 20/21 June. You’ll find bold abstract and landscape artwork, tactile pottery and handmade silver and gold jewellery, all original creations and available to purchase. The setting is an artist’s home set in the countryside close to Little Frensham Pond. With room to explore each artists’ creative work, the indoors flows naturally outdoors to showcase interior and exterior art and craftwork.

Colette Moscati is an abstract and landscape artist living and working in Tilford. Her richly textured and layered artworks of imagined and uplifting realms will be available to view as well as landscape inspired works of local areas. Her artwork is created with curiosity and wonder in mind and will appeal to those looking to add a touch of intrigue, joy and calm in their space. Small items such as cards, prints and bookshelf art will also be available.

Julie Owen of Silver Zeebra is a silversmith living and working in Burpham. Inspired by the bold beauty of a Zebra’s stripes, each item of jewellery created celebrates Strength, Harmony, and Individuality. Designed to empower and inspire, every piece is a reminder to wear your stripes with pride. A range of silver and gold pieces will be on display and available to purchase or discuss a unique commission, using your old jewellery.

Sheila Purvis is a ceramicist living and working in Farnham. Sheila’s work is bold, rustic and many pieces are able to be left outdoors for decorative purposes. She has small and large functional and statement pieces for dining and kitchen use. These pieces are individual and will become lovingly used in any home!

Hanna Wildman is an abstract artist living and working in Puttenham. Her edgy and eye catching designs incorporate script, scribble, totems and mixed media. They sit as comfortably in colourful, bohemnian homes as they do modern, minimalist interiors. Hanna will have small items such as original handmade cards, prints, paper based works as well as rockstar canvases for that individual look.

Expect a relaxed, creative atmosphere with a slightly unexpected edge. We’re on the South Farnham Art Trail in between North Farnham and Hindhead Art Trails. There is parking available. Come for the art, stay for the chat and leave inspired by this collection of mixed media artists.
