Janet Gale – gonetopotceramics

My functional ware is oven, dishwasher and microwave safe. I make all my own glazes, which are unique to me and I love to experiment mixing glazes, one on top of the other, then letting the kiln do its magic, never sure what the results will be, sometimes full of disappointment other times full of glee.

I use mostly stoneware clay, but sometimes porcelain, a delicate clay, that  gives a lovely translucent finish. I make wheel thrown functional pots,  every piece is unique, no two ever the same and  are dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. I also sculpt, and love to make voluptuous ladies and highland cattle when I get free time.
