Linda Walsh and Terri Smart
Linda Walsh makes richly coloured textile-based mixed media framed pieces inspired by her wide-ranging travels. Her current projects are largely derived from recent time spent in Italy. Expect perfectly judged colours and exotic textures as she manipulates photos, prints them on fabric and then layers them into her evocative and pleasing images. She also makes unusual and fun pieces of fabric jewellery and uses her own designs for exquisite silk scarves.
Terri Smart is a highly accomplished ceramic sculptor who ”delights in making structured pieces out of formless lumps of clay”. She is influenced by natural elements and forms – seeds and fruits which are scaled up to explore their astonishing beauty, birds of all sorts, the winds and waves leading to her powerful sea pieces emphasising puny man’s relation to the oceans. A wonderful range of pieces large and small, indoor or outdoor.
All work is for sale with prices from small to £700
