Littleworth Cross Studio

We will have three artists exhibiting at the Littleworth Cross Studio, which is set in a beautiful country house garden, in itself very inspiring for artists! The three artists are Lizzie Crawford who took up painting a few years ago having been a successful fashion designer in the ’80s. She works many in acrylics and mixed media, drawing her inspiration from her beautiful surroundings in leafy Surrey. She likes to capture the colours and movement of nature and is currently experimenting with fluid art in which the paint takes on its own organic movement, finding it’s own way to depict the sea, landscape or just a mood!
Yeside Linney is predominantly a landscape painter, born in Nigeria an now living in Surrey she enjoys subjects which take her breath away. She draws much of her inspiration from her natural environment, literature and her travels. A self-taught artist, Yeside enjoys challenging herself to explore the abstract and the familiar. Through acrylic paint and mixed media, her passion for life is conveyed through layers applications of tenure, playing on notions of the visible and invisible. Her only claim to fame is appearing as a sitter for one of the finalists in the December 2020 Sky Portrait Artist of the Year. The commissioned portrait will be on display as part of the SOAS. The submission which earned her a place as a Reserve artist for Landscape Artist of the Year 2021 will also be on display.
Beth Kirby who was born in the United States and studied Biology at University of California, San Diego University and University of Bristol England. Her studies in the life sciences have now become a focus on both canvas and sculpture. Living in Surrey has given her the opportunity to capture the beautiful scenery in both impressionist and contemporary styles Her media use is broad from oils to acrylics and sculpture. She started painting at the age of 12 in oils with traditional methods and has moved into more free and contemporary expression is recent years.
