Paula Day

I create atmospheric, evocative abstract, and semi abstract landscape paintings that hover between the real, and imagined worlds. They inhabit the space between remembering and forgetting. My preferred medium is oil paint, and oil and cold wax, I use painting techniques of sfumato, paint removal and glazing to build surface layers.

Nearest rail station Haslemere (9 mins by car) Bus 19 from Haslemere station to Crossroad stop Hindhead, 15-20 mins walk from there down Portsmouth Rd. 10min walk from Grayshott.
