Although cities are what inspired my direction and style with their grids and perspectives, my practice has evolved to incorporate landscapes and propeller driven planes of the 40’s.

On visiting my studio you will find a mixture of subjects, London and New York inspired urbanscapes, along with landscapes and shorelines, plus the odd spitfire which are a nod back to a childhood obsession. Highly colourful and textured pieces that have evolved over the years combining an impressionistic interpretation and an open ended exploration of surface texture, seeking to fuse figurative representation with abstracted, textured surfaces.
