James Roe and Freda Line have worked alongside each other for many years.  James’ abstract and expressionistic work is inspired by the Isle of Wight and the Surrey Hills. His highly skilled use of collage and mixed media provide intriguing insights into both land and seascapes capturing the excitement and thrill of discovering a new place. Freda’s paintings use subtle colour to share both drama and joy. As well as paintings both large and small, Freda produces mixed media works on paper, these are fresh, loose and full of feeling. Seeing their work alongside provides a fascinating perspective into how differently artists interpret their surroundings.
