My artwork is fun, colourful, adventurous and joyful. Mostly inspired by geology, water, satellite views of the earth like glaciers and rivers, my mixed media uses fluid art to create a sense of movement with additional techniques for 3D texture and beauty.

I am a physiotherapist and believe in the power of touch and healing hands and I now hope that my creative energies will bring happiness and joy to you when you visit my studio.

In my pottery, I hand throw functional items like jugs, tea sets and mugs and hand build other things that I love, currently inspired by a diving trip to Oman, I am making coral pieces in the bright colours and textures I saw and loved underwater, in stark contrast to the beautiful but barren cliff faces, carved and sculpted by time, surrounded by azure waters and a cerulean sky.

Using paint leftover from my paintings, I design and make jewellery, key rings and magnets and you will have the opportunity to make your own if you like. This also includes miniature artworks I make into cards.

My studio is at the end of my garden where I also have ducks, chickens, cats and dogs and lots of greenery, my small oasis in suburban Richmond.
