Susanne Winter

Since studying ‘Fashion, Textiles and Printing’ in Leicester, Susanne has spent the past 35 years as a full time artist. Starting off in interior design companies, to freelance painting work and exhibiting in galleries and Art Fairs across the UK. She now works from her studio in Guildford painting and sketching landscapes, seascapes and life drawings.

The nature and aim of her work is to create paintings charged with energy, movement and emotions. Inspiration is drawn from the ever-changing land, sky and seascapes, of the North Downs, Isle of Wight, South Wales, Lake District or wherever she finds herself. She uses a vibrant palate balanced with soft mellow tones and works across a variety of mediums.
