Tracey Jane Cooper – Tracey Jane’s Art

I create colourful artwork often featuring semi abstract florals. My inspiration comes from nature’s pattern and colour and I am continually inspired by all manner of natural beauty, especially during the spring when to me, it’s at it’s absolute best.

I have a passion for working with alcohol ink; the way the ink moves and creates different tones when it mixes with the alcohol is quite mesmerising. I work to create fluid shapes using only a straw, no brushes, which have many intricate layers giving the appearance of a delicate, chiffon like quality. Recently I have enjoyed creating larger abstract pieces which have been hugely satisfying although challenging at times. I’m happy to show my process, discuss commissions etc.
