A very warm welcome awaits (together with light refreshments, subject to prevailing COVID guidance) in my garden studio.

A wide range of original art and greetings cards will be on display – abstract and semi-abstract, painted with inks, oils and strikingly high gloss resin. Sizes range from small to large. Colour and texture in abundance; there will be work in progress to see, too. I do undertake commissions, so if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, I’d be very happy to discuss the process.

Drawing inspiration from the shades and shapes of the natural world, I combine mediums, textures and colours  to create paintings that evoke memories, emotions and conversations.

Although I paint in all mediums, my favourites are watercolours and acrylic inks – and most recently, resin combined with texture, oils and inks. All these afford great scope for experimentation and enable me to produce a truly organic and original piece of work.

My foliage paintings are done using real leaves (which are removed) and, quite literally, the power of the sun. Weather permitting, I will have some of these ’solar’ paintings in progress for you to see at  my open studio.

Do make a day of it – my studio is part of the Surrey Hills Trail, with several local artists nearby. We are surrounded by fabulous countryside, and there are some lovely places to eat in the village.
