Yan White’s work is rooted in the observation of people, she finds the human form to be a rich and rewarding subject matter, often focusing on symmetry and the interplay of light and colour. Her body of work spans portraits in oil, clay sculpture and ceramics. Her preferred medium is oil painting, while her current focus on clay sculpture draws inspiration from the people around her.

Visiting information
My studio is at the back of our garden and can be reached via the side gate to the right of our black and white garage. There will be signs up. We have parking for about 4 cars in our drive plus there is normally plenty of parking available in the road. It is wheel chair accessible (if it is not raining hard).

Place to eat
The closest pub with food and parking is the Horse and Groom which is a 5 minute drive.

Buses from Friary Bus Station stop in Warren Road and Tangier Road.
