Packaging and delivery

Packaging is undertaken extremely carefully with glass (using bubblewrap and multiple layers of cardboard) and therefore the cost of post and packaging is calculated according to the order and will be charged at cost + 10% for labour.

As glass is fragile I prefer delivery or collection of pieces above a price of £100, rather than relying on the post or courier services. Please e-mail me about delivery/ collection. Collection can be from my studio at the south of Woking or from Country Markets in Chobham, Pirbright, Jacobs Well, Guildford or Cranleigh.

Artist's Terms and Conditions

All pieces will be photographed to show how they appear on being packaged and how the packaging protects them from damage in transit. These images will help you to unwrap the pieces carefully on arrival to avoid breakage on un-wrapping. Collection from the studio or delivery within a 30 mile radius (charged at 50p per mile travelled), is preferred to use of posts in ensuring the safe arrival of the glass at your premises.

Caroline Rutter Originals

I am excited by the interplay of Glass (fused, foiled or leaded) and Light. I love how it animates my images of horses, dancers, pets, wildlife and flowers as artworks, ornaments, practical tableware, light fittings and memorials. Vibrant colours and textured movement are integral to glass : I add originality. More info...
