Local artist, Beth Kirby's studies in the life sciences have been a focus in her artistic medium. She enjoys capturing nature and the human form on both canvas and sculpture. Living in Surrey has given her the opportunity to capture the beautiful scenery in both impressionist and contemporary styles. Her media use is broad from oils to acrylics and sculpture. She started painting at age 12 in oils with traditional methods and has moved into more free and contemporary expression in recent years. Recent press in Country Life and Vantage Point focusing on her Conker Sculpture. Beth Kirby also curates exhibitions and is the curator for The Mill Gallery in Elstead.
