Connect, Create, Grow: A Celebration of Artistic Diversity
This June, Surrey’s creative community opens its doors for an inspiring 16-day event: Surrey Artists Open Studios (SAOS). From 7-22 June 2025, art lovers and curious visitors will have the unique opportunity to visit over 250 talented artists in 152 studios across the county. As SAOS celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

SAOS 2025 offers a fantastic variety of artworks across multiple disciplines, from ceramics and sculpture to jewellery and paintings. Whether you’re looking to buy original pieces or simply experience the artistic process firsthand, this event is an unmissable opportunity to connect with the vibrant Surrey arts scene. Visitors can meet artists in their studios, explore diverse works, and even take part in hands-on workshops to try new techniques and skills.
The launch of SAOS 2025 kicks off with a weekend of exclusive activities on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June. First-time visitors will enjoy a series of taster workshops featuring a variety of materials, as well as demonstrations from local artists. It’s the perfect opportunity to kickstart your creative journey!
A Celebration of Surrey’s Artistic Talent
Since its inception in 2001, SAOS has been a beacon for showcasing the creativity of Surrey’s artists. This year, more than 250 artists will open their doors, offering visitors a chance to view, purchase, and even create artworks alongside the experts. With a wide range of workshops available, SAOS 2025 promises to engage and inspire attendees of all ages and artistic backgrounds.
To help you navigate the event, the SAOS website https://surreyopenstudios.org.uk/open-studios/ provides a complete listing of participating artists, studio locations, and workshops. Visitors can also find physical brochures starting in early May at libraries, galleries, and studios throughout Surrey.
