Amanda Whittle

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Amanda Whittle was a former international Ballet Dancer and Make up Artist.
Amanda is a visual artist working predominantly in photography and print making. Her interest in current psycho-social, sexuality, mental health and current geo political issues is how she attempts to make sense of the current climate in which we exist.
Amanda has exhibited work in the UK, India and China and will be exhibited at UCA Farnham as an Artist in Residence, October 2019
Amanda was selected as an emerging artist by Fast Forward Women in Photography to attend Lagos Photo 2018. Following her MFA degree at UCA Farnham in 2016 she was offered an Artist in Residence position for a third year 2019/2020 when she began to create Oil Spoils as a response to what she was witness to in Nigeria.
