Communal works with a group of artists forming ‘The London Surrey Arts’ Various ceramic items: domestic and slab work for exhibitions. Book illustration and works based on Wagner’s Ring Cycle. Much of my work reflects the idea that places; landscapes, buildings and objects bear witness to, and reveal the collective memories of human stories. There is a spirit of place that can be captured and drawn out in the practise of drawing and painting, both in situ and in longer contemplation through sketchbook diaries.
