Cathy Pyle

Cathy Pyle is a Guildford-based photographer whose work explores themes of home, our connection with the changing seasons, and the restorative powers of nature. She photographs spaces and products for some of the UK’s leading interior and lifestyle magazines and for creative brands, designers and makers, in addition to working on her own fine art practice. Whether she’s photographing interiors or outdoor spaces, Cathy seeks to capture form, light and colour in such a way as to create an ethereal, meditative feel. She prints her work in her home studio, using digital fine art papers made of fibres from agave, mulberry and hemp, which not only add depth and texture to her images but which are also more sustainable than traditional photo papers.
