Woodworker

Nestled in the Surrey Hills, my mornings start with a stroll down a brick path, coffee in hand the first and most important thing is to make a playlist for the day and then get creating. In between making signs, business logos and plaques I make bowls and pots mostly with offcuts, reclaimed and recycled wood. Oak is my favourite as my first good supply was a trailer full to the brim of old oak post and rails. I tend to focus on a theme at a time from The Blue Whale to various shapes including tear drops grooves and anything that appeals and can transfer to wood. Colour has become an important part of my designs , finding the right colour and tone to really make the wood come alive. I love craft fairs, meeting other like minded creators, sharing ideas and the thrill of people buying my pieces.
