Gina Carpenter

As a trained graphic designer, I've worked on craft magazines and books for many years and have a keen interest in many crafts. Six and a half years ago, I took a lampworking lesson and was totally hooked. With quite a bit of investment and practising, I now make my own jewellery and gifts with my one-off glass beads. I love colour and the vibrancy you get from glass. There's a kind of magic that happens when you melt glass at the torch and work with different colours and patterns to make truly unique beads. All my beads are kiln annealed to make them safe to wear. As well as making items to sell, I also run lampworking classes from my studio in Guildford.
