Jane McKeown

I am a hand stitched, using thread to create marks,lines and patterns. I translate my love of colour, texture and pattern and the feel of the fabric and thread in my hands to my work through my needle. My work is strong and bold; I stitch quirky narratives, still-life, using traditional inspiration of domestic items and interiors, and more abstract pieces that allow the viewer to enjoy their own interpretations.
