Lisa Marianne

A firm believer in creative arts and adult education, I graduated with a BA (Hons) Des Inn (art pathway) from the Open University just as the pandemic hit. Over the years I’ve enjoyed learning art disciplines both locally and further away. I am currently a student on the St Ives School of Painting Porthmeor programme, and also create and teach art programmes locally. I particularly enjoy working with the properties of acrylics, inks and watercolour. My work is mainly abstract and gestural, finding inspiration in the beauty of nature, travel, music, people and the mindfulness of art itself. Two of my works were recently shown at The Lightbox gallery.
