Amanda Gomm

Painter

Originally from Yorkshire, I’ve lived in Surrey since 1989. After attending Bradford School of Art in my teens, I rebooted my artistic streak during lockdown. I tend to rotate mediums (oils, acrylics and watercolour) and subjects (portraits, wildlife and landscapes) to keep it fresh and challenging. I love realism with a vibrant colour twist and when painting animals I really want the viewer to smile. I do not apologise for painting ‘cute’ sometimes as it depends on what inspires me on the day of deciding what to paint next. I am a member of Croydon Art Society and exhibit with them as well as solo exhibitions. https://instagram.com/mandygommart
