Quirk&Whimsy (Anna McCallion)

Quirk and Whimsy is the creative journey of designer/maker Anna McCallion who is entirely too enthusiastic about playing with clay and paper (her family and dog like to think she is fairly enthusiastic about them too) Having studied ceramics and three dimensional design at university in her youth she has continued to develop her passion for the materials and processes involved in the creation of each piece. Working from a garden studio in Farnham, Quirk & whimsy creations are wildly eclectic. Inspired by nature, wonder, found objects and tiny worlds, the work includes functional pottery as well as delicate porcelain, paper sculpture and one of a kind heirlooms each with a little whimsy and wonder mixed in.
