Ros lives in the beautiful Surrey Hills, overlooking extensive farmland and big skies. Her work is inspired by the impact of light in these stunning views and the colours and shadows of everyday life. She creates atmospheric paintings in response to this, weaving stories into the fabric and layers of her work. Ros works both from her imagination as well as observation using oils, acrylics, inks, collage and even coffee to create marks that truly sing. She graduated in Fine Art back in the 1990’s and has since worked as a community artist, teacher and art therapist. Most recently her work has been mesmerized by the energy and beauty of birds in flight.
