Sally Schofield

Artist

I am an artist and designer living and working in Surrey, UK. I trained in graphic design at St Martin's School of Art in the 1980s. Although my career began in design, I was also an Art and Design teacher for 11 years across secondary schools in the South East. Since reclaiming my life from education, I am on a one-woman mission to banish bland shop-bought art from homes by creating a diverse range of unique art - in style, medium and size: I want to create affordable, unique art for any home to be proud of. All my work is framed with reclaimed frames from charity shops, donations or skips that I up-cycle, paint and refurbish. Ask my kids - I hate waste... I also have a passion for unusual pieces - I create bespoke and unique art from wood, resin, wire, fabric and silver and hand-crafted Pagan-themed goods for altars and sacred spaces. I am studying for my M.A. in Art History, focusing on arcane symbolism within post-Renaissance art.
