I have worked with textiles for many years, studying, writing about, teaching & exhibiting them. The creative potential of making a fabric or changing an existing fabric into a functional or purely decorative item is an endless fascination. I now design & make a wide range of ladies coats, jackets, hats & scarves, including styles for every day aswell as unique ‘one off specials’. These include decorative techniques such as surface stitching, colour piecing & textural pintucks, making them totally individual . Functionalty is obviously a key element in the design of these garments, but I also place great important in making them attractive to look at and to wear. All are made from a quality 100% boiled wool fabric which wears extremely well.
