From her home in Dockenfield, Sarah hand pours candles in small batches using natural plant waxes and the highest quality fragrance and essential oils. Creating scents inspired by the countryside around her home in Surrey and family holidays in Mawgan Porth in Cornwall, she finds ways to reduce waste and create products that will last. Her home fragrance range of candles, reed diffusers and match pots are presented in skillfully hand thrown ceramic pots that can be kept, cherished and reused with refill options, creating less waste. "Having always loved scented candles, I used to feel frustrated that many scented candles either didn't smell strong enough or burnt unevenly. Like many others, I'm aware of the environmental impact of candles, so, I started to craft my own" That, along with believing you can have luxury and still be kind to the environment, Sarah created 'Mawgans', home fragrances.
