Steve Cook | Modern Ceramic

Steve Cook has been working with ceramics and making pots for the past 8 years. He is influenced by modernism, minimalism, abstract art, typography and graphic design and the aesthetics of Japan and the Nordics. I am trying to use traditional pottery techniques in combination with other materials with a modern aesthetic to create usable contemporary objects. My work is about form, utility, material, quiet harmony and hidden spaces.
