Printmaking Workshop: Monotype and Monoprinting

Learn about printmaking by producing a piece of ‘Tropical’ artwork which combines two techniques. Firstly create a monotype using leaves, feathers and flowers from the garden. Discover the delicate shapes and silhouettes you can capture with contrasting and vibrant oil based inks. Use the printing press to achieve these clean cut and fascinating shapes. Next learn how to work from a bird image to produce a monoprint which can be placed over the monotype. All abilities are very welcome. Adults and children 11 yrs and above. A maximum of 4 in the studio with prior booking. All materials and refreshments provided.
