Poterie à la Carte

Working in her garden studio, Stevie makes individually crafted domestic items that are reduction-fired in a gas kiln to add interest to the slips and oxides used when decorating. Themes include landscapes, coastlines, trees, birds, fish and flowers. Most of the domestic ware is wheel-thrown, while hand-built items often incorporate sculptural elements. The display of work is in the garden, under gazebos, and includes small garden ornaments and alpine planters.

Weather permitting, free drop-in workshop sessions will be offered to adults and children: a small fee is charged only to cover the cost of firing your creations.
