I have a deep fascination with folklore, stories woven through time, carried by the land, and whispered through nature. This passion shapes my work as I create botanical, moon, and skull-themed plaster casts and ceramics, taking impressions from clay to preserve the delicate beauty of the natural world. Growing up in Devon, a land rich in magical history, I first developed a deep connection to nature. After moving to studying Fine Art and spending nearly two decades in London, I was drawn back to the countryside and now live in Surrey. This shift allowed me to rekindle my love for nature, reconnecting with the spiritual and historical roots that continue to inspire my work. Whether you’re a botanist or a wild child at heart, my pieces resonate with those who find magic in the world around them.
Having recently acquired a kiln, I’m expanding into ceramics, blending my love of nature, spirituality, symbolism, and storytelling into a new medium. My collection includes ceramic altar ornaments, bas-relief plaster impressions, printers' tray wall art, and jewellery, offering something for every nature lover and dreamer. I work with high-quality plaster and clay, capturing fine details, from the delicate veins of a leaf to the texture of a flower petal.
Cyclical living plays a key role in my creative practice, guiding me to work with nature’s rhythms and the changing seasons. Just as the moon waxes and wanes, I embrace the natural cycles of creativity, allowing space for both growth and rest. Many of my pieces are connected to these cycles, whether through botanical casting during summer’s bloom, creating moon-phase-inspired jewellery, or honouring the introspection of winter through textured forms. I also incorporate foraged materials into my work, ensuring my process remains sustainable and in harmony with nature.
I began my creative journey in 2006 at Camden Lock Market, selling upcycled jewellery made from found objects. Over the years, my designs gained international recognition, with pieces stocked in Selfridges, Debenhams, and boutiques worldwide. While I still create jewellery, my focus has shifted to one-off designs, blending organic forms, semi-precious stones, and vintage components into my collections.
As a trained art teacher with over 20 years of experience, I embrace mixed media and experimentation. During lockdown, I explored abstract oil painting, and more recently, I’ve crafted canvases from vintage embroidered tablecloths, weaving stories into my art.
On my page, you’ll find a vibrant blend of storytelling through fine art and crafts, plaster and ceramic pieces, jewellery, and abstract expressionist paintings. Drawing from folklore, moon cycles, and the symbolism of plants, my work invites you to embrace life’s beauty and fragility.
