Alison Hunt

Alisons paintings are a response to the natural landscape. She is inspired by her daily walks and journeys and her paintings capture a feeling of a place, the land, the skies and the light . They are not necessarily of a particular location but relate to multiple images of an area that she had recorded, usually when dog walking Colour plays a great importance in Alison’s work and the contrasts she uses bring the work to life. Alison is a self taught artist, working in acrylic and mixed media. She works in her garden studio on the Surrey Hampshire border.
