Becca Clegg BA
Painter Printmaker
Becca Clegg BA is a painter whose work is inspired by dramatic views of nature. Her vibrant paintings use texture with bold coloured acrylic paint and inks, to produce slightly abstracted panoramas of landscape. She loves patterns and outcrops of hills and rocks, and she is drawn to blocks of colour and texture, created by huge swathes of flowers or sea.
Her portfolio includes Public commissions for Frimley Health Foundation Trust - 17 metres of paintings for Ward F14 in 2017-18. She also has work in Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford.
Becca obtained her BA at Kingston University and has been painting since 2011. She has sold Worldwide, online and through many independent galleries in the UK and abroad, including Corte Real Gallery Portugal, Obsidian Gallery Stoke Manderville and Lightbox Woking. She sold well at her large exhibition at Cumberland Lodge in 2016, including to the Chairman. Her work is in collections in many parts of the world: the Middle East, America, Canada, Australasia, and many parts of Europe.
