An enthusiastic photographer since childhood, it has always been a magic medium, to be able to capture a moment, a memory. When I discovered cyanotype printing it was another kind of magic, using just blue and white to produce subtle and beautiful photograms of flowers and plants with the sun. Completely self taught, using plants and flowers from my garden I create prints and cards, each one original and every time different according to the sun at that moment. I love the shadows and details that this form of art can create. I have recently been experimenting with printing on Japanese washi paper and fabric, and finding new uses for them from lampshades to lanterns.
