Denise Jaques + Lindsey Southworth

Denise Jaques– Contemporary mosaics for the home and garden.

Visit Denise in her garden studio. A great opportunity to discuss her unique approach to mixed media mosaic, as well as being the first to see new work and work in progress.  Alongside her popular colourful garden mosaics, she will also be showing some fine art mosaics. Denise is an experienced tutor and also runs Mosaic Happy Workshops.

This year Denise will be sharing her studio space with Lindsey Southworth, a multi disciplinary artist working predominantly with collage and lino print.

With a strong sense on characterful charm, Lindsey’s vibrant, whimsical collaged lino prints won her Surrey Artist of the Year 2022 runner up. She has been developing a new body of work which has taken her back to her routes of textile design.

Denise and Lindsey are friends, they met 16 years ago whilst making a carnival float for their childrens’ school. Since then, their friendship and creative journeys have blossomed. This year they are sharing Denise’s studio space and garden for Surrey Artists’ Open Studios.
