When you visit my studio you will find a mix of contemporary wheel thrown designs and rustic hand built pieces that are functional and non-functional.  My work is influenced by texture, elegant lines and neutral colours with occasional splashes of colour! I’ve been inspired by the beauty of the natural environment around me, together with memories of my travels. I especially feel that handmade pottery is very much like a person’s life and reflects that essence – it’s never perfect – a little like being human and reflects the maker’s personality and life experience.
