Lynne Thomas & Sarah Watson (Mawgans)

We are delighted to join together again this year to show our paintings and candles in the lovely garden and studio setting at The Oaks.

Lynne’s main passion is creating images that truly capture the character and soul of the incredible wildlife both in the UK and overseas – particularly those that she has been lucky enough to encounter/experience.  Lynne is also inspired by the beauty of natural landscapes and seascapes.

Lynne mainly works in acrylics on canvas, linen and handmade papers.  She also enjoys the immediacy of pen drawings and experimenting with different mediums and mark-making tools.

Sarah of Mawgans, handmakes beautiful scented soy wax candles and vegan reed diffusers in stunning,  sustainable and refillable ceramic pots. 

Scent has a profound impact on the human psyche, and her candles are designed not just to illuminate spaces but to elevate experiences. She believes that each scented candle is a sensory journey that has the power to transform moods and create lasting impressions. She meticulously curates each fragrance, drawing inspiration from nature, and emotion to craft scents that resonate on a deeper level.
