Susannah Acland

Working predominantly in acrylic, my land and seascape paintings aim to capture the atmosphere and nuance of our local landscape. Working in a fresh palette often dominated by blues and hints of pink, combined with bold mark making, I aim to create a characterful impression of the landscape, featuring many familiar local scenes, with the south coast around West Wittering and Hayling Island providing a constant source of inspiration as well as the stunning countryside around our home in Hampshire. The rugged land and seascapes of the Scottish Highlands also feature frequently in my work.

I love working both small and large which allows me to offer original paintings priced from as little as £45 up to £600 for large scale canvases.
