Tatarek Pottery and Gonpotty

Tatarek Pottery is all about colour and texture, pieces are carved before the clay fully hardens to provide surfaces that the glazes can pool in to increase the depth of the designs. Individual designs are inspired from many sources but my overall style has developed from my love of the Arts and Crafts movement.

Gonpotty’s practice revolves around creating a simple elegant ceramic form. The dynamic nature of the applied glaze and the layering adds graceful movement and dynamics to the finished pieces. The results are graceful, peaceful, functional pieces of art for every day use.
